About Us
Located in Staten Island, NY, the Temple honors the Divine Feminine expressed in women's sacred traditions. We are an Interfaith tradition with a spiritual lineage connecting back through the ages of HER Mysteries from cultures around the world, when women were honored and respected, and The Goddess was revered! Women 18 years of age and older, of all ethnicities are welcome to join us in celebration of the feminine divine.

The temple was established in 2002. Lumeina serves as High Priestess supported in service by 8 Priestesses. All Priestesses are ordained as Interfaith ministers and have a range of experience between 7-30 years! 5 of our Priestesses hold legal clergy status!
We have officiated rituals and ceremonies through out the USA, Canada and abroad. We are all committed to selfless service in a manner that is sacred and supportive of the Great Goddess.
PoHTs is a volunteer Temple. We embrace the charge to hold a sacred space of the Divine Feminine through devotional practices, education, community activism and networking with Priestesses of diverse traditions.
The GoddessTemple offers open devotion services, women's circles, open seasonal celebrations, classes, lectures, retreats and pilgrimages.
Like many spiritual traditions, our Priestesses (ministers) design and officiate original ceremonies and celebrations befitting the general community. These include weddings, handfastings, rites of passage ceremonies from maiden to crone; funerals and memorials. We perform home purifications, home blessings and baby blessings. We offer Spiritual Counseling that include energy work, sound healing, divination and water ceremonies.
The Temple functions as a Spiritual Sistarhood for the safety and healing of women.
We believe that we must educate, nurture and heal ourselves before we can nurture, educate and heal our families. We welcome all women regardless of sexual orientation, marital status, faith tradition and ethnicity! All women who are called to honor The Great Goddess are invited to enter sacred space and time, to pay tribute and receive the magickal powers of divine grace and wisdom, for the good of all humanity!
